Dirk died...

Unfortunaly, Dirk Monteny died of cancer on november 4th 2008.
50 years of age is much to young, but he took his faith bravely...

He asked me to keep posting his work "from behound the grave", so keep an eye on his website for new work of this great artist.

At first I will insert his latest post on Renderosity into this weblog.
He posted several texts on his illness there.

My deepest condolences to you, Mark and the rest of Dirk's family. I "knew" Dirk from the Irish Wolfhound Mailing List and thought you should know he will be missed by those of us who met him there. His art and poetry are a part of our lives and the lives of our hounds.

Hug the hounds at the Bridge, Dirk. We'll miss you as we miss them - deeply.
